Upstream Tracker : ウィキペディア英語版 | Upstream Tracker
Upstream Tracker is a web service providing analysis of API changes from the backward compatibility point of view for a variety of C/C++ libraries. It includes more than 700 software libraries at the moment. The basic tools are: ABI Compliance Checker for tracking API/ABI changes, API Sanity Checker for the automatic run-time unit testing and PkgDiff for tracking changes in source packages. The primary goal of the Upstream Tracker is to help Linux maintainers with upgrading libraries. The second goal is to help developers of C/C++ software libraries to maintain backward compatibility. And the third goal is to save the history of changes in the Linux APIs. ==History== The project was started in May 2010 and closed in July 2015. The successor of the project is the new open-source ''ABI Tracker'' 〔(A tool to visualize ABI changes timeline of a C/C++ library )〕 tool that can be set up and maintained distributively by upstream developers of each Linux library.
